Test principle: The sample is clamped between the two chucks of the fixture, and the two chucks move relative to each other. The force value during the test is collected through the force sensor located on the movable chuck and the displacement sensor built into the machine. Change and displacement change, so as to calculate the tensile, tear, deformation rate and other performance indicators of the sample.
Test sample and test process
Test sample: This test uses a plastic shopping bag provided by a supermarket as the test object.
(1) Use a sample cutter to cut 5 samples each with a width of 15 mm and a length of 200 mm along the horizontal and vertical directions of the plastic shopping bag sample.
(2 Clamp the two ends of the sample on the upper and lower chucks of the equipment respectively, and the long axis direction of the sample should coincide with the center line of the upper and lower clamps.
(3) Set the test speed, sample width and other parameter information.
(4) Click the test start option to start the test. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the final test results.
Test results and analysis
The transverse tensile breaking force of the plastic shopping bag sample tested this time is 51.135 N, the tensile strength is 62.676 MPa, and the elongation at break is 55.40%; the longitudinal tensile breaking force is 49.316 N, the tensile strength is 60.437 MPa, and the elongation at break. It is 67.30%.
