Plastic woven bags mainly include polypropylene bags and polyethylene bags. The main production process is to use plastic raw materials to extrude film, cut, and unidirectionally stretch into flat yarns, and then weaving products through warp and weft. At present, it is widely used in the packaging of food, daily necessities, fertilizers, chemical products, etc.
The flexibility of the plastic woven bag can be judged by testing the tensile strength (tensile strength) of the bag body, so as to verify whether the plastic woven bag meets the packaging requirements of the product. If the tensile strength of the plastic woven bag body is low, that is, the flexibility of the bag body is poor, and the bag body is prone to damage and leakage in the process of storage and circulation, which not only causes the leakage of the package contents, but also reduces the the life of plastic woven bags, so manufacturers should strengthen the test of tensile strength of plastic woven bags.
Test methods and instruments
For the test standard of plastic woven bags, please refer to GB/T 1040.3-2006 "Determination of Tensile Properties of Plastics Part 3: Test Conditions for Films and Sheets".
The testing equipment used in the test is the LTS-05 intelligent electronic tensile testing machine independently developed and designed by Link Testing Instruments Co.,Ltd.
Test principle: The sample is clamped between the two chucks of the fixture, and the two chucks move relative to each other, and the force value during the test is collected through the force value sensor located on the movable chuck and the built-in displacement sensor of the machine. Changes and displacement changes, so as to calculate the tensile, tear, deformation rate and other performance indicators of the sample.
Test samples and test procedures
Test sample: In this test, the plastic woven bag provided by a certain enterprise is used as the sample.
(1) Use a sample cutter to cut 5 samples each with a width of 50 mm and a length of 200 mm along the horizontal and vertical directions of the plastic woven bag samples.
(2) Clamp both ends of the sample on the upper and lower grips of the equipment respectively, and the long axis direction of the sample should coincide with the center line connecting the upper and lower grips.
(3) Set parameters such as test speed and sample width.
(4) Click the test start option to start the test. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the final test results.
Test Results and Analysis
The average transverse breaking force (that is, tensile strength) of the plastic woven bag samples tested in this test is 386.507 N/50mm; the longitudinal average breaking force is 398.011 N/50mm.
