The bottle cap is mainly used to isolate the contents from reacting with the outside air. The cap unscrewing force index is an important index to ensure the integrity, reliability and applicability of the product packaging. In order to ensure the normal use of bottled goods and give full play to their use value, the national standard GB/T17876-2010 "Plastic Anti-theft Bottle Caps for Packaging Containers" has clearly defined the opening force, torsion force, and leakage of the bottle caps regulations.

    GB/T17876-2010 "Packaging Containers Plastic Anti-theft Bottle Caps" stipulates the method of measuring the tightness of bottle caps;

     For non-carbonated caps, seal them with a cap torque meter according to the rated torque that meets the capping requirements, test with the cap sealing tester LTMFY-06S, pressurize to 200kPa, keep the pressure under water for 1min, and observe whether there is leakage Then increase the pressure to 350kPa, keep the pressure for 1 min, and observe whether the cap is loose and pops up. It is required not to leak air at 200kPa and not to take off the cover at 350kPa.

     For carbonated caps, seal them with a cap torque meter according to the rated torque that meets the capping requirements, cut off the anti-theft ring, and test with the cap sealing tester LTMFY-06S, pressurize to 690kPa, and keep the pressure under water for 1min , Observe whether there is air leakage, then increase the pressure to 1207kPa, keep the pressure for 1 min, and observe whether the cap is loose and pops up. It is required not to leak air at 690kPa and not to take off the cover at 1207kPa.

     The domestic professional packaging material testing instrument manufacturer Jinan Sanquan Zhongshi Experimental Instrument Co., Ltd. has developed a bottle cap suitable for use by bottle cap factories, bottle factories, packaging material factories, and quality inspection units according to customer requirements and with reference to GB/T17876-2010. Testing equipment: cap sealing tester LTMFY-06S, cap torque meter NLY-20A, the following briefly introduces the corresponding experimental equipment and experimental methods of the bottle cap test item.

(1) Cap sealing tester LTMFY-06

LTMFY-06S
LTMFY-06S

     The bottle cap tightness tester LTMFY-06 uses the principle of positive pressure experiment to inject a certain positive pressure gas into the sample bottle through a special tool. After a certain pressure holding time, the instrument automatically judges whether the sample is sealed well or the maximum pressure value during bursting. It is suitable for the measurement of the tightness and rupture strength of various materials such as anti-theft bottle caps, aerosol valves, composite hoses, packaging bags, composite cylinders, composite paper cups, and sterile packaging bags for medical equipment. LTMFY-06 can achieve end cap release force, anti-theft bottle cap tightness, creep test, creep rupture, aerosol valve sealing, creep to rupture, aluminum tube sealing test, etc. by changing the corresponding fixtures. The sealing instrument is widely used in medical equipment, pharmaceutical, food, packaging, quality inspection and other industries.

(2) Bottle cap torque meter LTTT-20

LTTT-20

      The bottle cap torque meter LTTT-20 fixes the sample bottle body on a specially made torque clamp. The bottom end of the clamp is fixed on the torque sensor in the test box. The bottle body is driven by rotating the bottle cap, which causes the torque sensor to malfunction. The reaction tests the torque required to rotate the cap clockwise or counterclockwise. It is suitable for testing the torque value of cap locking, opening and tightening of packaging products such as vials, medicinal plastic bottles, beverage bottles, mineral water bottles, milk bottles, edible oil barrels, etc. It is widely used in cap production, quality inspection centers, food , Pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and other industries.
