The opening performance of the zipper has an important influence on the use effect of the zipper self-sealing bag. The opening tension is an indicator for evaluating the opening performance of the zipper. If the ridges and grooves of the zipper are not tightly matched, the opening tension is small, which will lead to poor air tightness of the packaging, easy to leak, and even break the bag under the impact of falling or the impact of the product inside the package; if the opening force of the zipper is too large, it will cause the packaging bag to be difficult to open. This test was conducted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the opening tensile test in BB/T 0014-2011 Zipper Ziplock Bags, which is applicable to ziplock bags made of plastic single-layer film, composite film, etc. The test equipment used is the LTS-05 Automatic Tensile Tester, which is independently developed and produced by Link Testing Instruments Co.,Ltd.
Test principle: The opening tension of the clip chain refers to the force required to open the ridges and grooves of the clip chain. During the test, the two plastic film parts containing one end of the clip chain sample are clamped into the upper and lower clamps of the equipment, so that the clip chain is in the middle of the two clamps. The upper clamp of the equipment pulls the clip chain open during the upward movement. The force sensor configured in the equipment monitors the force generated during the process of the clip chain being pulled open in real time. After the test, the opening tension of the clip chain is calculated and displayed based on the monitoring value. The upper clamp adopts the soft connection with the machine upper motive part. Test results and analysis
The average value of the outer opening tension of the ziplock bag samples tested in this test is 2.941 N/50mm, and the average value of the inner opening tension is 6.178 N/50mm.
